OOC; Anyone who wants to join is now welcome to!

Bright sunlight pierced the green and purple of the glade's canopy tinting the light in contrasting golden and leaden shades. Scatters of small translucent seeds drifted down from the dark green elms in a spring snow that settled on the grassy floor of the venue with out melting. Amongst the seed coated grasses celandine and buttercups vied for position, threading gold into a otherwise green tapestry. A spread of other, more delicate, pastel hued flowers - Daises, lilac and cosmos among them - Had been picked and laid out in a rough path that lead up to where Blaise sat waiting, Moons to his side, at the base of gnarled old oak. The service itself would not be a big or elaborate thing, there was no one to lead it, instead it would just be the Blaise and Kita swearing their vows to one another in front of the gathering who would act as witness. If events all went to plan it shouldn't even take too long. Kita would walk down the path to him, they would bow to each other. Then came the vows, then anyone who felt like it could then make an objection - They better not, but they could - Finally he'd present her with a small gift - Kita would do the same and it would all be signed, sealed and official. At long last.

"Mudfoot told me my parents were married here," Blaise said quietly to Moons as he watched a drift of elm seeds pull away and escape on the wind. "Always used to say my Father was a good friend to him and that was the only reason he didn't drown me in the lake when he had the chance," Blaise smiled shaking his head slightly, remembering just how irascible his old mentor had been. "Wish he could be here - He'd be shocked as hell to see who I'm marrying." He added with a laugh. "So much for his 'Your only hope at finding a mate is to find someone who's deaf, Kid' Blaise grumped in a spot on impersonation, but for all that he still truly wished the old guy could be here, even if it was just to complain.

"How do I look?" Blaise asked, betraying his nervousness by quickly changing topic. He licked his paw, coating it was a generous amount of saliva, before ducking his head and smearing said spit around between his ears in an anxious attempt at smoothing over his untidy scruff of fur. Once done, he looked hopefully at Moons for affirmation that everything was in place even as a stiff breeze briskly undid his good work, returning his fur to its default state of ruffled. "Give up?" He asked of her with a resigned sigh, scrubbing his paw back across his fur so it stuck up at new and bizarre angles. Fur just had no respect for special occasions it would seem.

"I feel like I've forgotten something - You've still got the gift right?" He double checked for about the third time since they had reached the clearing. "No," He said closing his eyes and taking a deep breath to steady himself, "Sorry, sorry, don't answer that - Course you've got it you aren't me. I'll stop asking." Blaise said before Moons was forced to answer it again. "I'm a bit nervous is all - And my head is killing me. The hell did Blackmoore do to me last night?" By agreeing to be his Best Man, despite the fact she was quite obviously female, Moons had effectively signed up to be his baby sitter for the day. Having to put up with him as he went through different stages of excitement, anxiety and eventually panic as he ended up misplacing Kita's gift because he was too busy being anxious. Wisely, the gift was now in Moons possession, ready for when they needed it.

Every now and then some one would arrive and he'd smile broadly and nod politely to them hoping he wasn't looking as nervous as he felt. This was the one thing he had wanted most for the longest time, but now he was here he just wanted it done with. It wasn't really the wedding he was interested when he'd asked Kita to marry him, the wedding was a means to an end; what he wanted was to make official their commitment to each other, so that everyone knew they belonged to one another. Presuming of course it ever got that far. Glancing up at the sky, Blaise plotted the position of the sun. Midday. Exactly the time they'd planned, he looked hopefully down the roughly marked path of flowers for a flash of lavender emerging from the shadow of the trees. There was nothing there. Not yet anyway... Not yet... "She'll be here soon," He said bracingly, mostly to himself, then after a short pause he turned to Moons and continued in a slightly constricted voice that explained the true source of all his anxiety. "What if she changed her mind?" Part of him was convinced that Kita would get to the end of the aisle, look at him, remember just what she had agreed to marry, then turn tail and run. He loved her, he knew that, he knew she loved him, he knew that too... But did loving someone always translate to wanting to spend the rest of your life with them? He took a deep breath and stared at the end of the path waiting for his answer.

Blaise and Kita's wedding. It had finally arrived, and it found Moons sitting dutifully beside the groom, who she could tell was a nervous wreck. For lack of better terms. Not that she blamed him. While it was very exciting and she was ecstatic for them, she imagined how nervous he must be feeling. From how much they knew each other now, she could tell that Blaise was uncertain. No... more like fearful. Not of their love for each other, but more so fear of rejection. It was something that, if she admitted it to anyone, she feared herself.

Yet here they were, waiting for Kita's arrival. Every so often her tail swayed as she glanced at Blaise every so often to check on him. Perhaps it was her ability to sense emotions from others and in a sense filter them, that she felt nervous herself. Her own heart beat in an accelerated manner, and she quietly took a deep breath to calm herself. No need to get Blaise more upset by showing her own anxiety. "Mudfoot told me my parents were married here." Listening to Blaise, she turned her head slightly to shift her eyes to look at him as he told her the story. "Always used to say my Father was a good friend to him and that was the only reason he didn't drown me in the lake when he had the chance." Moons chuckled. She never knew Mudfoot, but she had heard plenty of stories about the guy. All from Blaise, of course. "Wish he could be here - he'd be shocked as hell to see who I'm marrying. So much for his 'your only hope at finding a mate is to find someone who's deaf, kid.'" Moons smiled, picturing the scene. "I'm sure he'd be secretly happy for you, Blaise," she said, figuring the guy had a good heart despite his constant berating towards Blaise.

"How do I look?" Now turning to look at Kita's soon-to-be-mate, Moons watched in silent amusement as he tried to bathe his hair to tame it. Her small smile and silently chuckling gaze would give it away to Blaise, since he knew her so well. But she couldn't help it, it was... well, cute to watch. The way he fretted with himself, trying to look his best for Kita. "Give up?" She glanced up at his fur, which refused to stay put. "You look fine, buddy," she replied gently, smiling at him and tilting her body to nudge him softly. "Besides, the look suits you. It wouldn't be you, otherwise." If she knew Kita well enough - and she'd like to think she did - Kita wouldn't want Blaise to change his look just for her. She'd want him to be himself, just the way he was.

But of course, his worries didn't stop there. "I feel like I've forgotten something - you've still got the gift, right?" Moons stopped herself from playfully rolling her eyes at him. Of course she still had it. Nonetheless her gaze, perhaps out of habit, flickered to the gift kept safely beneath her paw, hidden by her own leg.  Instead she smiled and gave a single huff of laughter, opening her maw to answer, but he beat her to it. "No. Sorry, sorry, don't answer that - course you still got it you aren't me. I'll stop asking." Rather than answer verbally, she merely looked at him with a raised eyebrow and a smile, a look that silently said are you sure? But then she rid herself of the look and grinned, trying to dissipate some of his anxiety. "I'm a bit nervous is all - and my head is killing me. The hell did Blackmoore do to me last night?" Now that was a good question. But Moons let her happy expression drop to a softer and more serious one. "I understand you're nervous, Blaise," she said, looking straight at him. "That's why I've been trying to help dissipate some of it." And hopefully it's worked. "Just look at it this way -- after this, you'll be happily bonded to the woman you love." As she spoke, she shifted her gaze to the incoming guests momentarily before looking back at Blaise. "I know you two don't need all of this to make it any more 'true'. You both will find happiness, regardless." As she finished, she was looking at where the 'public' would be sitting. If Blaise was looking at her, he'd find a soft smile and glimmering eyes in Moons' expression. One that, perhaps without his knowing, was putting all her hopes into them living a happy life together.

"She'll be here soon." As though that was the cue, Moons' eyes quickly roved over the end of the beautiful flower-lined path. No Kita yet. Though she was sure she'd see her friend soon. "What if she changed her mind?" His words brought her mind back to what she thought of earlier, of his hidden fear of rejection. Turning to him once more, Moons lifted a paw and went to briefly lay it on his in a comforting motion before looking at him to speak. "Blaise, she's not like that. You know her just as well as I do. Even better than I do, in some senses." Throughout all this time she spoke low so only Blaise would hear her, but she still held conviction in her words. "Believe me when I tell you, she hasn't changed her mind. You know I don't play around with emotions. Besides, I've seen you two -- it may not be as obvious to you guys. Or hell, maybe it is. But at least from where I'm sitting, I can tell you two make each other extremely happy." She lived off of her observations of others, and she had seen that on numerous occasions.

She could only hope that now, it would ring just as true for Blaise as it did for her.

The world was bright and inviting, warm and profoundly quiet, as if silently holding its breath in anticipation for what is to come shortly. To say the least, the Archduchess is close to holding her breath too, both from fear and anticipation of all that has happened and all that will happen. She is to be married today, to the love of her life, to Blaise. She could hardly believe the day had come at last, after all his courting, all her rejections, and all the realizations.

Here they were at last. At long last on the edge of forever.

The thought causes her paws to slow to a stop just short of the glade that her and Blaise were to be married in. Standing in the shade of a large tree she puts down the gift she has for Blaise, which is wrapped in a large leaf, and takes a few deep breaths, worry gripping her heart. Did she truly know what she was getting herself into, did she know what she was doing? Of all the things in her life, this was perhaps the largest leap of faith she had, and likely ever would, take with her own personal welfare. This was an unknown for her, and the thought of doing something that was compleatly beyond her own control filled her with some dread.

Yet, looking out towards the meeting place, seeing Blaise standing there beside Moons she could not help but smile from her somewhat hidden vantage point. He was just as nervous as she was most likely. She could see him dancing from paw to paw, nervously talking with Moons, and all around trying his best to not break down. Emotions that Kita herself felt now, but seeing him wrestling with them too made her feel a little better, a little safer.

If she was to jump into the unknown, she would not be alone, she would be with Blaise. She would be with the one she loved, just as he would be with her. In the end, no matter what happened, that would be all that mattered.

Sighing and composing herself the Chocolate dire would look to her escort and smile softly. Blackmoore was a brave and honorable Dire, more so for having put on the 'Stag Party' for soon-to-be Mate. She had heard some of the stories of the night, and she could not help but chuckle inwardly at the things she had heard. Perhaps later she could tease Bliase about it.

"Thank you," She would say to Blackmoore, "for keeping an eye on Blaise last night, and for agreeing to be my escort today Blackmoore. It means a lot to me, and I am sure quite a lot to Blaise, that we can have our friends taking such an active part in this event." She would look back to the gathering, "I am nervous though Blackmoore. Though I know I have no cause to be, I find myself afraid. Almost to the point of wishing to flee, and run far away." She would close her eyes and sigh, "Yet I know that I cannot abandon him, he would never abandon me."

She would look back to Blackmoore, "Moore, is this how it feels to go into battle?" Her voice would be soft, and unlike all the other times she has ever spoken to others, it is shaking with her fear, "To be afraid of what is going to happen. Even though you know that it will be alright, even though you know that you will see the next day." She would shake her head, and paw at the ground, "But then, you do not need to answer me, I am not having second thoughts, simply for once I am out of my element." She would clear her throat then nods slowly and look back to her escort, "Shall we then?"

She would wait for Blackmoore, then picks up Blaise's gift and steps out into the sunlight, head held high a warm smile on her face. She would walk forward, slowly and with purpose, down the pathway of flowers.

And in that moment, if anything else existed in that moment besides her mate, then she would not know it, for all she saw was Blaise and it was all that she cared about. Coming at last to his side she would sit down, her smile growing as she sets down the gift and speaks softly, "I hope I didn't make you wait too long, dear heart."

And in this moment, nothing else matters, except Blaise.

He'd got this tangling feeling inside that was telling him that the world changed a bit since yesterday. I a good way, hopefully – yet, when it did happen? Maybe during the night, but he didn't cared frankly. To work hard, and party hard - were none of his concerns for now. Being himself - was. A bit tired self, but nevertheless a happy one, with a bunch of good memories dating back a few hours, as well as many months back. All in thanks to the two people here. People that dared to look past the first few glances, and welcomed his friendship. He was here for them today, or rather  for one of them right now in particular. The other was waiting somewhere nearby, but the soon-to-be-married friend of his, will have to wait a bit, apparently... Since the freshly made Honour Guard has facing some adversities with the bride, as someone could say...

Blackmoore couldn't not to smile softly to himself on a such thought, while keeping himself close by to Kita's side. Offering her his company, and a lot of encouragement during their way up here. Turning his smiles, and patience, into his coin for today, as his female friend was getting more and more pale by every step she'd took forward. Giving him weird looks every time she'd was starting to slow down, like she'd was about to hide behind the nearest trunk and refuse to come out. He'd found this quite amusing by himself, but he'd couldn't say that he didn't got to understand, how she felt now. After all, to get married was a dream of his own somehow – and though it wasn't his ceremony, he'd felt like he was about to swoon a time or two. A strange, pleasant feeling it was - he'd got to admit. At least up to the moment he'd remembered himself the status of his own affair. And that he'd gonna have to see her today. Not that he'd minded, since he'd would love to met her more often, but... It felt like he'd been bashing the tree with his head. It made him feel hurt, on the back his heart. An another reason to not to be in rush, as his own pulse was racing a bit, and he'd need time to get it under control.  Though actually, he'd quite enjoyed the walk so far. Feeling 'welcomed' for the first time from many months, taking a pleasure that he's able to help someone on their way to even greater happiness.

Yet, it hurt when they've come up and stopped at the edge of the glade - where the whole ceremony was about to take place. She was there, making him jealous of the happiness he'd got a spot on. What he did wrong? Why it can't be like so many months ago? When they first met, and after. He was able to make her smile, so what did changed? Or who? Was it all of his fault? What did he lacked to make it real?

"Thank you," He'd heard from Kita out of sudden, realizing that he'd didn't got to hear such words from months. Realizing, that he'd let himself to be carried away. While he shouldn't, not today. Especially not today... Looking over to her, he'd smiled softly and thoughtfully upon these words. Taking strength from'em, as the Archduchess spoke again: "for keeping an eye on Blaise last night, and for agreeing to be my escort today Blackmoore. It means a lot to me, and I am sure quite a lot to Blaise, that we can have our friends taking such an active part in this event." Keeping an eye, huh? He'd just wanted to keep a company to his friend - nothing more. It wasn't a watch, but he knew that Kita meant no harm with that. "The pleasure is mine, miss." He smiled genuinely, showing up a bit how much it all meant for him. "As for the yesterday... I hope we've weren't too obnoxious during the night?" He said, spicing it up with a softly mischievous type of grin. After all, it was possible that a half of Inaria could heard their voices. As he was quite sure, that he'd remembered a song or two...

"I am nervous though Blackmoore. Though I know I have no cause to be, I find myself afraid. Almost to the point of wishing to flee, and run far away. Yet I know that I cannot abandon him, he would never abandon me."

"It's all right Kita," He'll reply thoughtfully, unaware of the rare occasion that has came upon him. Yet, would it change anything? Probably not, and that was the best in that, as he'd kept his gaze on her. Ready to lean an shoulder if there was need for that. "and by the look of things, I'm pretty much sure you've would run that way first..." He'll smile softly, pointing up towards the oak with his maw. Being brought nearly to the point of chuckling gently, but in a very caring way above everything else. Suddenly, Kita has shifted a bit, surprising him greatly. Does she'd felt that bad?

"Moore, is this how it feels to go into battle? To be afraid of what is going to happen. Even though you know that it will be alright, even though you know that you will see the next day. But then, you do not need to answer me, I am not having second thoughts, simply for once I am out of my element."

She finished after a while, leaving his expression thoughtful as his mind swirled for a moment. A bit long one, but it wasn't because he'd wasn't willing to answer. He'd just... had to deal with the pain inside him, the pain that has been released by all his memories of the less and more recent things. Things, which clustered together were making him to say exactly what he'd was about to. "No, it's not how does it feels." He'd start, speaking gently - with a lot of care and empathy. Showing up a bits of the pain that was always lingering just behind his usual mask that h'ed put on to the world. "I think it's easier than this... You can earn scars and wounds on your flesh. But those can heal up, the life isn't over. When love?" He'll let his voice to be hanged for a moment as he'll sigh thoughtfully. "If you fail at romance, it does hurt you from inside. There where are you the most vulnerable..." Though he tried, he'd couldn't stop himself from looking down the way, to the oak. He'll sigh heavily, yearn somewhat so blatantly for a second before continuing. "Even if you heal those wounds, they can always reopen... But that's why I'm so happy to be of help in getting two perfectly matching souls together." He'll finish on a happier tune, letting the smile to creep onto his maw as he'd spoke the last words. Hoping that they've turned to be at least a bit helpful to her...

"Of course." He'll reply with a smile, patiently waiting for Kita to gather herself up before stepping out to the sunlight into the field of flowers. Slowly, he'll accompany her with the all possible grace he'd could push into his moves. Straightening himself to make everyone see and say "look, she's coming!". As the neither of them, Kita or him, has been paying much attention to the surroundings. She'd got his eyes on Blaise, he'd got his on Moons somehow. Though it was hard to notice, as he'd kept his smile and was continuously shifting his gaze between the oak and woman he'd got to lead down the way to the altar. He'd knew that many people would feel honored by the position he'd got in today's ceremony. But it didn't mattered for him, he'd felt proud because he'd been chosen as a friend. It mattered a lot more to him than anything else. As they gonna reach destination, he'll simply sit beside her and smile softly. "I hope I didn't make you wait too long, dear heart."

"I think he'd almost gnawed at his claws, by the look of his face..." He'll chuckle after the bride. A bit mischievously, with a kind, caring type of grin.

I think it's now OPEN to the spectators.

you saw my pain washed out in the rain
broken glass, saw the blood run from my veins
but you saw no fault, no cracks in my heart
and you knelt beside my hope torn apart

but the ghosts that we knew will flicker from view
we'll live a long life

so give me hope in the darkness that i will see the light
'cause oh that gave me such a fright,
but i will hold as long as you like
just promise me we'll be alright

She was at the gathering, though she did not personally knew Kita nor Blaise. She'd heard of them, of course, for who in the pack wouldn't have unless they were living under a rock? They were friends of Moons and Blackmoore, who she knew well... She had also helped in providing some goods to exchange against other packs for the preparations of Blaise's bachelor party. Lotus had never known what her plants had been exchanged for, but she preferred not knowing after all. By the look on Blaise's face, it had been quite a night indeed. Lotus smiled as she observed the flowers that made the path to the tree. They were all beautifully arranged, but she couldn't help trying to add some finishing touches by either moving a petal, or adding some more. When she had heard that there would be flowers involved, she simply couldn't be kept away. She had almost insisted on being left in charge of the decorations and all in all, she was rather proud of the result. She didn't know the groom or the bride personally, but she had worked her best to make sure this day would be one they would never forget.

The moment it all began though, and Kita made her way to her beloved, she realized all her work would be for naught. They had but eyes for each other. This made her smile, inside as well as out, and she was glad to see such a couple being brought to the light and celebrated in such a way. Her home pack did not have such ceremonies, and she had never heard of such an event before... but watching them now, she hoped one day she would be able to share such an event with the one she loved. Of course, she needed to find a love interest first...

So far, her interests consisted mostly of flowers and medicines.

She carried her basket with her, which might have seemed odd for those who knew of her habits. Lotus never used her basket other than to carry medicine and gather provisions. Her baskets were hard to make, and so easy to break that she seldom used them unless she needed to. But today, she had brought it along with her, a large cimeran leaf covering whatever she carried inside. Today was a special occasion, and for such, she had thought to add a special touch. She was still hesitant and unsure of herself in regards to her plan... after all, she hadn't really asked anyone's permission to do this... but she would try and gather her courage. Only once Kita and Blaise were wed, would she reveal the content of her basket.

She hoped they both loved surprises.

(I hope it's okay I kinda butted in and said Lotus was the one who did the decoration with the flowers. SRY <3 Also, I can't keep my own mouth shut... she's got a bunch of white and red roses petals and once Kita and Blaise are wed she'll be throwing them in the air so they fall on them YAY <3 you know... if it's not too.... intrusive... of me.)

(the pack's collective scream of FINALLY can be heard for miles. just kidding, have fun guys :P)

My old man is a bad man but
I can't deny the way he holds my hand
And he grabs me, he has me by my heart
He doesn't mind I have a Las Vegas past
He doesn't mind I have an LA crass way about me
He loves me with every beat of his cocaine heart

Swimming pool glimmering darling
White bikini off with my red nail polish
Watch me in the swimming pool
Bright blue ripples, you sittin', sippin' on your black Cristal
Oh yeah

As it turns out I'm not dead. Sorry for how long you've had to wait for such an awful post.

"I'm sure he'd be secretly happy for you, Blaise."

"Not likely," Blaise laughed, nervously drumming his toes against the soft earth. "He'd probably stand up half way through and start objecting." Blaise admitted with a slight head shake and a grimace. He wasn't even joking, it really was a likely outcome - Old Mudfoot could always be relied upon to find something disagreeable with any given situation. "He would of enjoyed the free food though - Loved a buffet that guy. One of the few things we ever agreed on was that the best part of most weddings was the food. He was awful, really was." Blaise laughed shakily, "Loved him all the more for it though." He admitted with a genuine, if tight, smile. Mudfoot had his faults, and they could have filled several pages, but he was straightforward and to the point, you always knew where you stood with the old grey nose.

"You look fine, buddy. Besides, the look suits you. It wouldn't be you, otherwise."

Blaise's toe drumming had advanced into a slightly more frenetic form of tapping that was partly an effort to keep himself calm and partly because his leg was already shaking and he was doing his best to hide it. He very nearly jumped when Moons tried to give him a reassuring nudge. He'd faced sabers, bears and blackbloods but now faced with the one he loved and a saying a few simple words in public he was a knot of nerves and tension. "I was hoping for dashing, charming and irresistible." He said going for a jokey tone but getting it an octave too high and making it sound more plaintive than anything else. He cleared his throat and gave himself a brisk shake that only further ruffled his blond fur. "But if fines what we got I'm sure I can work with it." It was a poor attempt to talk himself round, but at least he was trying.

He let his eyes wander over the small gathering; some of the group were close friends, others mere acquaintances, and a fair few were probably just here for the food. He didn't blame them. His eyes rested on Lotus for a second and briefly wondering what was in her little covered basket. Probably medicines, he thought... Wonder if she has anything for anxiety... He could do with something relaxing right about now. The paw tapping continued. He ran over his vows in his head. To have. To hold. Till death do us part. Forever and ever etc etc.

"I understand you're nervous, Blaise. That's why I've been trying to help dissipate some of it. Just look at it this way -- after this, you'll be happily bonded to the woman you love. I know you two don't need all of this to make it any more 'true'. You both will find happiness, regardless."

"I know. I know." Blaise replied softly shifting his gaze down to his paws and letting out a long breath. He had finally managed to get a grip of the shaking by digging his claws into the soft turf and leaving them tensed there. "You're right. Thank you Moons. I wouldn't have gotten here with out you." He replied looking up at her, though her eyes were on the congregation. "I'm glad you're here." It was quite the literally the truth, with out Moons reassuring presence he would probably be currently going frantic somewhere in the woods unable to remember what he'd done with his gift. He flicked his eyes down to the little bundle to confirm for the hundredth time it was still there and found himself smiling. It was a silly little thing really, his gift, something only Kita would understand and that was it's charm.

A movement at the edge of the tree line caught his eye and looked up sharply as two figures emerged into the dappled sunlight. "Moons. Moons! She's here! Look! Look! She came." Blaise said hitting Moons with his paw to get her attention, despite fact Moons could probably already see that for herself. It was more a case of him needing to make sure she was seeing what he was seeing and confirming it was true. "What do I do - Oh God she's lovely - How the hell did she end up with me?" He asked of no one in particular now, never taking his eyes off her as she gradually progressed towards him, her paws moving her over the flower strewn ground so softly she barely crushed the petals. She was here. She chose him.

"I hope I didn't make you wait too long, dear heart."

Then, all of a sudden it seemed everything went into fast forward and she had reached him, sat next to him, was speaking to him. Then everything paused and he was lost for words. She was here. She chose him. The world clicked back into play. "All my life, but for you I'd have waited longer." Blaise said earnestly. She was here. She chose him. Even if he wasn't one for convention, he was pretty sure it wasn't supposed to be the groom who started crying at the wedding, so he quickly blinked back a threatening tear, covering it with a small cough. Subtle.

"I think he'd almost gnawed at his claws, by the look of his face..."

"Shhh you." Blaise said, with a slightly shaky wink to show he was joking. Then more seriously, "Thank you for escorting Kita and for being such a good friend to us both." He bowed to Blackmoore as he would have done to Kita's Father if he had been there to present his daughter, it was perhaps a bit formal but he didn't know how else to convey his gratitude. So a bow it was.

Turning to Kita he smiled, let out a breath and widened his eyes slightly, wordlessly expressing his terror and excitement to her. Vows next. He'd spent ages preparing this, but he honestly couldn't remember a word of the lengthy speech he had prepared. "Kita." He started, for lack of anywhere better to start. Then paused... The pause dragged for several long seconds, certainly too long to pass off as dramatic effect. Oh yeah - He'd forgotten his lines. Five minutes ago he could of said them backwards, now he couldn't remember the first word. Typical. "I rehearsed this loads..." He sighed half closing his eyes. "Promise you it was lovely." He looked at his paws, then over toward the gift. Well, he'd screwed this up good and proper. Get a grip Blaise. Say something. Something. Anything. Everyone's waiting. Something. Anything. Kita's waiting. "I love you." Not part of the script but nothing wrong with a bit of ad lib, right? "So, so much. I promise to always be here for you, no matter what. No matter how bad things get you'll always have me. I've always fought for you and I won't stop now. As long as I'm breathing and my hearts beating - And probably after that - I'll protect you. " He turned to pick up his gift, giving Moons a 'the hell is wrong with me' expression as he did so. Oh yeah he could deliver messages in hostile situation but say something at his own wedding? Noooo. Great. Smooth. Well done, Blaise.

"I offer you this gift and swear my loyalty to you... If, y'know, you'll have me." He gently deposited the little bundle at Kita's feet. Would she understand? His gift to her - one small dead dormouse. Where it all began.

Moons kept a watchful eye on Blaise; while she was sure he wasn't about to run off and leave his own wedding, she still wanted to make sure he didn't have a nervous breakdown. Who would have thought that the wolf that delivered messages to allies and enemies alike, and stood beside her in the face of battle, would now be nervous in finally publicly admitting his love for his soon-to-be-mate Kita? It was amusing, cute, and concerning all at the same time, especially for the maroon female who had grown to adore her two close friends.

Her amber eyes glimmered with amusement as he spoke. "Not likely. He'd probably stand up half way through and start objecting." Silent laughter hid behind her eyes, but she let him continue speaking. Listen to the rant, and maybe it would help itself. "He would of enjoyed the free food though - Loved a buffet that guy. One of the few things we ever agreed on was that the best part of most weddings was the food. He was awful, really was. Loved him all the more for it though." A soft smile graced Moons' maw now, at the caring admittance Blaise made. Funny how events like these could bring out the way you felt about others, good or bad. Mostly good, though. Frankly she had nothing to add, so she let his comments go by her without a retort from her.

His looks still concerned him, which still made her mentally roll her eyes, but smile on the outside. "I was hoping for dashing, charming and irresistible." Moons laughed at that and winked at him. "I'll leave those compliments to Kita," she replied, tail wagging. "But if fine's what we got I'm sure I can work with it." Ha, Blaise being Blaise. "If there's anyone that can work with fine, it's most certainly you." It was friendly banter to ease tension, but it was true, regardless. Blaise had a knack for making things, even if they seemed improbable, work out. He had a way of improvising that impressed Moons, and it was part of what made her admire the beige-toned male.

"I know. I know." His reply to her reassurances made Moons smile. She knew that he knew. "You're right. Thank you Moons. I wouldn't have gotten here with out you." She gave a slight huff of contradiction. "Of course you would have made it here," she said, tail wagging and she gazed at the crowd. "But you're welcome~" She appreciated the words of gratitude from Blaise, and she held it close to her heart, much like she did with whatever her friends said to/about her. "I'm glad you're here." Feeling his gaze on her, she turned and looked at him. The appreciation and gratitude seeped from him, and it made her blush if it could be seen beneath her maroon fur. Her gaze softened, and she smiled tenderly at him. "It's an honor to be here." And it really was. "Thank you, Blaise. For everything." Unbeknownst to Blaise and Kita, this wedding of their's had helped Moons far more than they could ever imagine.

Then Kita appeared at the end, accompanied by Blackmoore, and Blaise burst over with enthusiasm just as Moons' heart skipped at realizing it was finally happening. "Moons. Moons! She's here! Look! Look! She came." The paw hit Moons, and it made her just laugh at his reaction. She was going to reply to what he said, but she chose to keep her maw shut and just watched his reaction as well as Kita. "What do I do - Oh God she's lovely - How the hell did she end up with me?" This time she kept her gaze on Kita, much like Blaise did, but for completely different reasons. "Love." That was her soft reply, but she wasn't sure whether or not Blaise would hear her, considering. But it was as simple as that.

"I hope I didn't make you wait too long, dear heart." Moons' eyes twinkled with emotion as she watched Kita speak those words and sit by Blaise. The love between them was practically palpable, and it made her want to inch away and leave them alone. But no, Moons remained where she was, and instead glanced  to the audience around them to see their reaction, and glancing at Blackmoore as well. "All my life, but for you I'd have waited longer." She felt awed by how easily the words of affection fell out of Blaise's mouth, despite his earlier afflictions of nervousness and anxiety. "I think he'd almost gnawed at his claws, by the look of his face..." The humor coming from the Soldier didn't escape her, and she couldn't help but chuckle, only because it was true. "Shhh you. Thank you for escorting Kita and for being such a good friend to us both." He bowed to Blackmoore, and Moons watched silently, knowing she was just a mere bystander now.

As Blaise turned to Kita to begin the official ceremony, she subtly stood and pushed the gift more towards the groom for easier reach, and took a step or two back before settling again on her rear. Then his speech started. "Kita. I rehearsed this loads... Promise you it was lovely." Moons had a soft sympathetic smile on her maw as she looked at Kita, whom she was sure wasn't bothered by this. "I love you. So, so much. I promise to always be here for you, no matter what. No matter how bad things get you'll always have me. I've always fought for you and I won't stop now. As long as I'm breathing and my hearts beating - And probably after that - I'll protect you." Truer words couldn't have been spoken. Moons felt the sincerity behind his words to her, and she felt a soft urge to cry coming up, which she quickly smothered. Blaise turned to the gift, and she caught his expression, to which she gave a very small shake of her head with a genuine smile, all that answered with 'absolutely nothing, friend' as the message. Then the moment passed and he continued. "I offer you this gift and swear my loyalty to you... If, y'know, you'll have me." Glancing at the mouse, then up at Kita, she waited to see her reaction, as well as her return gift, which was wrapped in a leaf.

What else would this beautiful wedding hold?
