The day had finally come when someone decided they where too good for themselves and egoistically walked into her land. Now what would she do? she was going to have to face off with the wolf that came along with a much smaller cat...

No point in killing him it would be better to see the terror in his face and let him live with trauma and fear as a small reminder, never mess with a roo or...well your bones will be aching for months.
She had chosen a special area for her little duel and pretty much unless that wolf was good at jumping for long periods of time without getting tired he would earn a bit of her respect. The large area was covered in dead and fallen trees, some marsh grass poking out from some areas. She would laugh at watching any creature try to copy her maneuvers in a place like this...

The logs would make sprinting or running impossible and pretty much the only way to get around was by jumping or climbing over the logs and do your attacks from there.
Keeping your body steady was going to be the key to winning in this place...

She stood on top of the highest spot in the area awaiting for her enemy to arrive and see what was in store for him. That wolf had walked into the wrong place to mess with and Sparta was going to teach him a lesson he would never forget.

He was a little nervous to be honest, Lee had volunteered him to fight the leader of Sparta. All of their visions and dreams now rested on his shoulders. But he couldn't let the stress get to him, Lee would probably be really mean to him if he failed.

He trotted carefully into the battleground, each foot planted gingerly and precisely.  So the Roo had set the arena for their confrontation. His yellow eyes darted back and forth  taking in as much as he could.  There were a lot of large obstacles. Large fallen trees littered the floor, perfect for cover. He could also climb atop of them and use them as a vantage point.  Sure it could get tiring constantly climbing over logs, but he was close to the ground and flexible. Andy would dart around the debris as best as he could.

Andy had never fought a kangaroo before, but it couldn't be that hard right? They were kind of tall, but had a large expanse of thick neck muscles. Lee had also told him they couldn't walk backwards, after she had wished his good luck.  That knowledge would help me he was sure. Andy might not be the spring chicken he once was, but he still had some spunk in him yet.

Besides, what was that saying again? Age and treachery overcome youth and skill, right?

"I'm going to be cool and offer you an out. Join us and we can put this silly mess behind us". Andy paused dramatically, he sucked in a breath and puffed out his chest. "Or, I'm going to have to kick your butt."

The large roo focused her ears in the direction of a sudden sound...to be exact the sound of footsteps in the distant marsh weed ahead.
"I'm going to be cool and offer you an out. Join us and we can put this silly mess behind us"

Wait what did he really just say that or was the fog going into her brain?, she join them...really...really! did they believe that she would surrender her land to listen to a stupid midget cat HELLS NO!. Sparta's anger button had been pressed at what this little puppy had just told her.

"Or, I'm going to have to kick your butt."
he said as he puffed his chest bloating his limited strength and clearly not knowing what he was getting into...at all. "Hehehe...do you think I will just surrender what I worked to establish...think of yourself lucky I will just give you pain beyond you ever believed possible and you will live."

She tensed and tightened her powerful leg muscles as she bounced from fallen tree to fallen tree with both grace and power... It was her move on the chess board now.

For her first attack she would swiftly do a U tun as she got close to the male, once she got onto his left side she would slam her tail for balance and attempt to give a forceful kick into the wolf's side. If she managed to succeed in her attack the blow would send him hurling and crashing into the nearest log with great force. Not to mention the deadly sharp claws on her toes would probably leave some nice gashes on his left side.

If he dodged the first attack then she would lash her front claws at him in an attempt to scratch open the flesh near the front part of his muzzle. If the attack succeeded then he would be left with painful gashes on his front muzzle.

If both of her attacks missed she would leap above him and attempt to slam him onto the ground making him unable to move under her weight. If this attack succeeded she would apply pressure with the claws of her feet and hopefully leave some nice gashes on his pelt.

He had thought his offer had been rather civil and reasonable. In any other place, under any other circumstances, no such offer would have been offered. Between wolves there were no negotiation. But this was different, it wasn't everyday one was pitted against a Kangaroo.

It was hard to tell if they were evenly matched. The Blackblood weighed more than the marsupial, but he wasn't some kind of giant behemoth. No, for his size he could move lightly on his feet. It was a skill he had developed, a skill learned from his many years of stealing garbage from underneath the nose's of humans. But now he couldn't just rely on his speed, he'd actually have to use brute force.

Once she had declined his offer, Andy had stopped listening to her spiel. Although, he did pick up some chuckle-worthy tidbits about how pleased she was with what she had 'established'. In his opinion a sparsely populated pack in the middle of a mosquito infested dump was hardly something to boast about. Sure, he wanted close to the same thing, but it wasn't like the marshlands was prime real estate.

It was easy to avoid the first attack, it was hard not to miss the large animal running straight at him. As she moved closer to him, he retreated backwards. The kangaroo placed her tail down, and Andy figured she might try and kick. It was what they were known for, and it wasn't like she could kick while moving.  Andy utilized his practiced speed to quickly dart to the left of the kangaroo, knowing she'd have to make a u-turn to face him.

The second attack of the Kangaroo unfortunately managed to hit Andy. Sparta's sharp claws scratched at his face, he managed to avoid them digging top hard and permanently damaging his muzzle by rearing his head back.

Since Kangaroo's have short arms, Sparta was now within striking distance of him. Andy regained his balance, and using his muscular hindquarters he lunged towards his opponent's face. If his attack landed he would sink his teeth into any available space on the Kangaroo's vulnerable face, while his paws tried to find purchase on Sparta's body.

If his attack missed the Blackblood will aim for one of Sparta's massive legs. He would sing his teeth into the meaty muscle that powered his opponent. He would aim on temporarily crippling the Kangaroo.

i seem to have made a mistake: each fighter has a 10 day limit. my apologies. Sparta's player has until the 21st to post.

This wolf was going to go into a world of pain that he was clearly not familiar with. She had learned how to deal with her enemies back in her mother's group. Her grandmother was the leader back then and all seemed fine...until the wolves showed up, Sparta had learned to hate wolves ever since she was born but that one day a hatred beyond imaginable was born. Her grandmother was killed defending the group and that was when she stood up for the first time. The tables had been turned as predator became the prey. She could remember the wolf struggling in pain as she broke every bone in his body until he died a painful and slow death.

She growled in frustration as her first attack was dodged by the wolf. Did he really think that dodging her attacks would save him, the more he dodged the more energy he would burn and the more energy he burned the more tired he would grow. She stood her ground keeping a close eye on the wolf making sure that he was in attack distance.

However this wolf was foolish to lunge towards her face in an attempt to bite her face. Foolish wolf she thought as she felt his fangs dig into the top of her muzzle she had managed to avoid him from digging full way into her muzzle by backing her head a bit for permanent damage but it would hurt for a while. His paws tried to find space somewhere on her body but that was another fatal mistake. Sparta slammed her tail on the nearest log under her feet and lunged her legs at the vulnerable belly of the wolf. With all of her strength she would attempt to kick him right in the stomach and dig her claws into his belly. She wasn't aiming to kill him hopefully her claws would leave nice cuts on his stomach to make him bleed and feel pain.

If her first attack missed she would use her arms in an attempt to scratch his face around the eyes. Hopefully it would leave nice scratches that would pain him for weeks and possibly even temporary maim him while the skin around his eyes would heal.

This fight is paused due to concerns brought up by the fighter for Wick.
Sorry for the inconvenience~.

The concern has been discussed and addressed.
This fight thread may now continue.

Sukara Edit: Since the fight was paused 4 days until Wick's deadline, that's how many days from Akane's post that Andy will have to post. Just wanted to make this clear so there isn't any confusion on deadlines. So that would be July 7th, exact hour/minute, to this verdict post.

ooc: Hi, this is Rip. Blitzy is busy moving and doing life changing things, so I'm posting Andy for her. We have mod permission for it, so ayup.

ALSO really sorry for waiting until the last possible minute to post for you. I hate doing that. Work killed the hell out of me yesterday though.

---

Andy had a vague, fleeting thought cruise into his head (and it did, indeed, cruise because time was playing some funny slo-mo magic trick) as his teeth slid into leathery kangaroo flesh. Wolves can fly, said a voice in his head. Who knew?

Blood pooled in his mouth, in the dip of his tongue. Her face hovered before him, bulging prey eyes succulent little berries in harsh, harsh winter. He could pluck them and sustain himself for a little while longer, until the real meat came lumbering along, waiting for his jaws to close--

Tremendous pressure burst at his abdomen. Somehow Queen of the Stinking Swamp managed to get those giant-ass feet underneath him and gave him one good shove, a shove that hurt his ribs and guts. For a second he thought he'd go flying across this battle field of improbable logs, but Andy was big and Andy felt a little mad about this whole thing, so he did not go spinning off onto some damn bed of splinters. Instead, he clung on, and even though she lashed out at him with her puny hands and scraped him across the brow, he looked down at her with blood running in his eyes and pulled back the lips on his teeth. Blood had stained them red. Her blood, on his fangs.

He snarled and aimed his jaws at the space between her neck and shoulder. If he hit, he'd try to maul, worry the skin and muscle, until she threw him off. If she did chuck him away from her, he'd land heavily on his left ankle. Pain would shoot up his leg, and he'd stumble out of her way to try to give himself a few seconds to recuperate.

Sorry, baby, he thought, feeling the sting of her blows on his face and the burning, broken ache in his abdomen. We have a Halfway-House to build.

The searing pain came into her muzzle as his fangs dug into her flesh but his victory was short lived as her powerful legs slammed into her foe with great force. But the fool grabbed on in an attempt to stay on her body and continue his pathetic attempt to attack her. Fatal mistake she thought as her anger grew like a raging fire within her awaiting to scorch and show no mercy to her victim. Her claws had dug along his brow making some blood falling into his eyes...fool.

His jaws opened in and aimed for the area between her neck and her shoulder, Sparta swiftly moved her neck and shoulder away from his jaws in a dodge and now her true fury would show as she locked her icy green eyes filled with hostility awaiting for revenge of her own injuries.

Sparta crushed her teeth as she lunged...

She would attempt shoving her front upper claws into his face once again around the eyes in an attempt to scratch around his eye and temporarily blind him by his own flow of blood coming into his eye he would hopefully back away and clean his eye if he wished to get his vision back.

If the first attack missed she would lunge her entire body and weight onto the wolf She would attempt to push him into the log below her and crush him with her legs if she was successful she would send all of her crude muscle force of her legs into his back left leg in an attempt to break it and leave him temporarily maimed. If she did managed to hit her attack then the force of her kick would break his back left leg bone but she would stumble backwards as the strain on her legs would shoot intense burning pain into her leg which she would back away recovering from the pain.

If he dodged both of her previous attacks she would lunge her grinding teeth into either of his front paws that was close enough to her face and attempt to bite into the paw and grind his bones in an attempt to temporarily maim him making him unable to walk normally. If her attack hit she would have left the bones within his paw broken and temporarily maimed but she would have to do a U turn in order to lunge another attack.

There was no time to pity this beast consumed by fake confidence...he would soon see the real hell that Eden can thrash out when they are challenged.

ooc: Oops, sorry. I forgot to post this under the persona.

Andy clung there, hanging off a kangaroo, trying to figure out how he managed to miss a target that was directly in front of his face. But, before he could figure out the logistics, two hands tried slashing up his eyes and, well, he thought eff that and jumped down from his fleshy perch. He decided to blame the whole thing on the sun in his eyes. Yes, that was it. Sun beams.

The wolf landed on his feet but hit the ground hard, and a leg-full of pins, needles and what felt like biting insects congratulated him. He staggered forward a handful of steps. Ow.

No one saw that, He thought, blinking clotting blood out of his eyes. I just made a totally awesome acrobatic maneuver, and no one can say otherwise except for this lady, and I'm about to eat her anyway.

A few seconds later, and he saw the bipedal animal push off her log and head straight for him. His ego-medical aid would have to come later. Coolness factor aside, Andy felt a sour patch of annoyance curdling in his throat. Goddamn. She hadn't had enough yet? Bah!

No way. No way, man. She couldn't keep this up forever.

Before she could reach him, Andy darted around past her left side. Unless she managed a very sharp turn about, the wolf would spring with his own powerful brand of legs and leap, hopefully, onto her back. He'd go for between the shoulders and back of the neck like the persistent, little (well, okay, super-heavy-and-muscular) fly that he was.
